A Red Army counter-intelligence report.

The former 3rd Corps, led by General Molchanov, is in sharp opposition to Semenov. In order to prevent a split in the army, Semenov dismissed the corps commander in an order to the units. General Molchanov did not surrender and, in turn, gave the order to remove the shoulder-boards from the corps.

Pygmy Wars Notes

The original for this page is at kolchakiya.ru/uniformology/DVR_uniforms.htm. It is for the period when Kolchak had handed power over to Ataman Semenov in Transbaikalia, but is only the material supplied by V. Romanov. The bulk of the uniform details are on this page, and the Cossack units are dealt with separately.

The "former 3rd Corps" mentioned is the Kappel'evtsy who were not happy with Semenov's leadership. Most of the units are dealt with in this page
