Establishment of the Provincial Police, Order No. 34 of the Military Ataman of the Orenburg Cossack Host, 26 August 1918
Officers serving in the provincial police force are to wear their prescribed (army or Cossack) uniform.
Khaki clothing is provided for police officers, with a narrow blue stripe along the outer seam of the trousers.
The shoulder-boards of police officers are made of white braid on blue cloth with blue stripes. The shoulder-boards of lower police ranks are made of blue cloth with the stenciled code "В.М." applied.
Officers of the police are to have piping on the top and bottom of the collars of their blouses and one row on the chest. Senior policemen have white piping, while junior men have blue piping. Blouses are to have cartridge pouches on the chest.
