1 – winter short black coat; 2 – summer white tunic; 3 to 6 – collar tabs for coats and tunics: civic councillor, court councillor, titular councillor, provincial secretary

Order No. 659 of the Supreme Ruler's Chancellery, 19 September 1919

The Supreme Ruler has authorised members of the civil service under his authority and officials of the Office of the Supreme Ruler in all cases provided for in Article 531, Volume III, Part I of the Code of Laws to wear the same uniform of the general civil service model. As a winter uniform, instead of a frock coat, a double-breasted black broadcloth coat with the collar and lapels as for the coat, with red cloth tabs and red braid, without reinforcement or edging on the sides, with two rows of six gilded buttons bearing the image of the state coat of arms and without a back strap. As summer uniform, a white single-breasted tunic with five similar buttons, a stand-up collar and buttonhole tabs. A cap without piping or braid, with a black velvet band and a civilian cockade on the crown, black crown for the winter uniform and white for the summer uniform. Wearing the uniform is not mandatory.

In all other respects, the rules set out in Paragraph B of the Appendix to Article 531 of the Regulations on Military Service apply.

Note: When travelling by car to accompany the Supreme Ruler to the front, the garage manager is entitled to wear a khaki uniform (single-breasted "French") with dark buttons and the above-mentioned tabs and the same cap.
