Uniforms of the Amur Cossack Brigade

The Amur Cossack Brigade included seven Amur Special Cossack Sotnias (numbered 1 to 7) and the 1st Amur Cossack Battery. No special distinctions (following the example of the Transbaikal and Ussuri Hosts) were introduced for the Amur Cossacks during the Civil War. They continued to wear their previous uniforms with military ciphers of the letter "А".

Based on the photographs, it can be concluded that in the Amur Cossack Brigade, field uniforms were predominantly worn among the lower ranks, and colored elements (shoulder-boards, trousers with stripes, peacetime caps) were rare. At the same time, blouses of an original cut with a standing rounded ("uniform") collar were very common. In the belrussia.ru photograph, dark (blue) ciphers in the form of a capital letter "A" can be seen on khaki shoulder-boards.
