This is sections of the book "Markov and the Markovtsy" which assembles various histories written by former members of the 1st Officer General Markov Regiment, then adds some commentary and research.

The book also has very detailed information about the size of the Markov units over time (infantry, cavalry and artillery), plus an analysis of the composition the units in terms of the number of officers, the origins of the soldiers etc.
